That's so sad. I encourage everyone who can to sign up for the National Bone Marrow Registry. It's painless, and you could save someone's life some day! There is a shortage of minority donors in particular, but every potential donor could be the one to save someone's life.

I've been on the National Bone Marrow Registry for about 15 yrs now, I hope some day I get a call that could save a person't life. Spread the word, it's a simple blood draw that goes in a database....
