Glad you guys survived just fine!
Posted by Scriptor at October 30, 2012 9:36 AMGlad to hear you made it through Sandy with no damage. My brother in NH had three 40-foot pine trees uprooted in his yard. Luckily none of them landed on any houses.

Posted by Kerry at October 30, 2012 9:58 AMIt rained a lot here in Baltimore, and it was windy, but it would take a lot more than that for me to go sleep in the basement. That's where my 16yo dog sometimes pees, so that would also have been where the neighbors find our bodies in a week.

Posted by Steff at October 30, 2012 12:53 PMGlad to hear you all survived the night - I think you had it a little rougher weather-wise than I did in interior Connecticut.
Power stayed on and minor branches lost. Only sad casualty was a 90 year old lilac tree.
Our shoreline was is and will be the biggest casualty as they assess damage.
Glad you are all OK. We just got hit with lots of wind and some rain here in western PA. Praying for all those hit much harder.
